Orice obstacol cum ar fi: dealuri, munti, cladiri, pereti pot duce la micsorarea acestei distante
Lungimea antenei este un alt factor foarte important ce poate influenta distanta de comunicare in trafic. Astfel cu cat antena este mai lunga, cu atat este mai mare raza de actiune. Antena CB PNI ML145 are o lungime de 145 cm.
Performanta produsului este strans legata de caracteristicile tehnice pe care le are antena in conditii ideale de montaj si utilizare: SWR <= 1.0 , putere maxima aplicata pentru scurt timp 400 W, impedanta 50 Ohmi, otel inoxidabil etc.
